Originally from Montclair, New Jersey, Molly earned her bachelor's degree in Communication and Spanish & Latin American Studies from Westminster University in Salt Lake City. She then attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where she graduated with a Certificate from the Center for Social Justice and Public Interest, with a special emphasis in criminal justice.
During law school, Molly was a Clinical Student for the Northern California Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to challenging wrongful convictions, exonerating the innocent, and reforming criminal justice policy. She was also President of the Social Justice Coalition and co-president of the American Constitution Society. She founded a law student organization, Street Law, dedicated to advancing legal knowledge and skills to youth in underserved communities. Molly was awarded the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Scholarship award, given to students who have demonstrated commitment to equality, inclusion, and social justice, and the Deans Leadership Award, which honors exceptional graduating students who have distinguished themselves through leadership positions at the School of Law and made a positive difference in the surrounding communities.
Molly has always been passionate about civil rights, and it has been her lifelong dream to work for the ACLU. She is committed to a public interest legal career and to ensuring that every individual is afforded the protections guaranteed by the law.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time outside in the mountains.
