SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Planned Parenthood Association of Utah (PPAU) and The American Civil Liberties Union of Utah Foundation, Inc. (ACLU of Utah) are hosting a press conference prior to a rally co-hosted with the Reproductive Roundtable on May 3rd, to discuss the future of abortion care in Utah and the potential impact of HB 467, which is a functional ban on abortion in Utah.

The press conference will include an opportunity for attendees to hear personal stories and testimonials from individuals who have been affected by restrictive abortion laws in Utah and other states such as Idaho. In addition, there will be opportunities for media interviews and Q&A with the speakers, as well as business owners, medical providers, and legal experts.
Press conference speakers will include:
- Rep. Angela Romero: Democratic Minority Leader, Utah House of Representatives
- Dr. Emily Corrigan: OB-GYN with 16 years of experience practicing in Boise, ID
- Annabel Sheinberg: Vice President of External Affairs, Planned Parenthood Association of Utah
- Abortion Storyteller
The rally will feature a diverse group of speakers providing their perspectives on the impact of HB 467 and the potential consequences of limiting access to reproductive health care services.
