Ogden, Utah  - Today at 2:30 p.m. in Utah’s Second District Court, 2525 Grant Ave., Ogden, the district court will hear Weber County and Ogden City’s objections to a proposed order vacating two misdemeanor convictions against Leland McCubbin.  Mr. McCubbin was twice convicted of violating the Ogden Gang Injunction, which the Utah Supreme Court voided in 2013.  Mr. Lucero filed a petition to vacate those convictions in 2014, and has proposed an order setting out the reasons to do so.  Weber County and Ogden City have objected to the proposed order, and those objections will be addressed at today’s hearing. Mr. McCubbin is represented by the ACLU of Utah and cooperating attorney Randall Richards.
