Police Practices

Good police practices, thorough training, carefully crafted policies and appropriate allocation of resources in law enforcement can ensure public safety and prevent abuses in encounters between police officers and citizens. In addition to responding to allegations of police misconduct, the ACLU of Utah proactively works to ensure police practices remain constitutional by advocating for increased police accountability and educating the public about its rights with law enforcement.
