Keynote Speaker: Dr. Laura is an assistant professor of educational leadership at Chicago State University. Dr. Laura is the author of Being Bad. Being Bad has won the 2016 Library Services for Youth in Custody (LSYC) In the Margins Book Award List Selection and 2016 Society of Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award.
Enjoy learning from a panel of student activists, an update on the state of affairs on Utah's will to end the School to prison pipeline from a local legislator, and interdisciplinary breakout sessions.
There will be a light breakfast and catered lunch. We can accommodate vegans, vegetarians, gluten allergies, and peanut allergies.
