Ths is a panel discussion about the need to provide adequate legal representation for all residents of Utah and the need to reform state judicial laws. Every citizen has the right to legal counsel when charged with a crime, based upon the sixth amendment of the United States constitution.

Panelists: 

Anna Brower, ACLU of Utah, will speak about our "Yes On Six" advocacy campaign to reform Utah's indigent defense system. Anna can answer your questions about the Utah State prison relocation, reforming Utah's Board of Parole, School to Prison Pipeline, ensuring that law enforcement officers act accountably
and more!

Rhiana Medina and Leti Bentley from the Multicultural Center. They will be speaking about the substantial legal advocacy services they provide to the under-served residents of Grand County and the challenges they face translating very complex legal issues into Spanish.
